SUCCESS STORY: KIMORA LEE SIMMONS
Still little known in France, Kimora Lee Simmons, ex-model from the 80s and 90s, is a star in her country, the United States. She has been the heroine since 2006 of her own real TV The Fabulous Destiny of Kimora ( Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane ) on the American channel E!. This series is broadcast in more than a hundred countries around the world (including France). In writing " Fabulosity: What It Is & How to Get It ( The fabulosité: what is it and how to do this ), Kimora created a concept from scratch that sleeps and thrives in each of us of the "fabulosity", pledge of success in all the fields.
This young Métis woman, barely 36 years old, of Asian origin by her mother and African-American by her father, defines herself first of all as a mom and then as a sharp business woman . Thanks to her first husband Russell Simmons , a very influential businessman, creator among others of the clothing brand Phat Farm , Kimora Lee Simmons becomes president and creative director of Phat Fashions . In early 2011, Kimora Lee Simmons left her seat (or got kicked out?). Strengthened by its popularity and its many contacts, it launched itself like a big one with KLS .
This is where I was coming from, Kimora Lee Simmons recently partnered with the cosmetic brand Makari from Switzerland , specialist in dark, mixed and black skin, to develop Shinto Clinical , a multi ethnic anti-aging skincare line. It should see the light of day shortly in the United States.
Watching one of the episodes of Kimora's Fabulous Destiny, I understood that it was a global line. We can however bet that if anti-aging skincare is successful (why this first choice anyway ?), The range will grow.
