THE
DEBREAFING OF BLOGGERS EVENING WITH PHYTOSPECIFIC BY ONLINE FASHION STORE
It all
started with a succulent cocktail dinner with delicious flavors of the West
Indies arranged by the online fashion store (black pudding, fried chickens, cod acras… sprinkled with champagne and
the Planter). Welcoming and warm hosts were of course present for us - or a
dozen bloggers -. Among them were, Jason and Brahim the 2 young men, organizers
and at the initiative of this evening, Kathy Jean-Louis, director of the
Phytospecific brand, Fatou Batchily-Plat , Doctor of Science in Pharmacy and
Chemistry, designer of the Phytospecific range, as well as several other
employees of the Internet Pole. A conference would take place on the ins and
outs of the Phytospecific brand, followed by a capillary game. It is very likely
that exchanges and questions fused between bloggers and professionals of the
Phytospecific brand (I unfortunately had to slip away shortly before the end).
This is how we can sum up this evening, which took place in Paris, in the vast
showroom of the Alès group.
Since the
launch of the Phytospecific range of beauty products, I buy these products very regularly.
At the opening of my blog, I wanted to present, in the first post devoted to
hair, this brand that I particularly appreciate and which uses the best of the
concentration of plants for the hair (then a few years later, for the skin) . I
had the opportunity to speak on the phone with Kathy Jean-Louis (read the
interview with bonus useful information here ). I even bought Unifying Complex
, a product that regulates pigmentary disorders. But, I did not have the
patience to continue the treatment for several months (see my opinion there ).
Clearly, I thought I knew almost everything about Phytospecific . We must stop
at the term "almost" because, I learned a lot during this evening.
For those who know little or nothing about this French brand. Let’s give you a
little talk…
Kathy
Jean-Louisreveals that the Phytospecific range (the little sister of Phyto )
was born from the will of its founder Patrick Alès (CEO of the Phytosolba brand
, creator in 1967 of Phytothérathrie :
hair care with plants, former renowned hairdresser in the 70s) to use the
virtues of plants in the service of curly, frizzy, relaxed hair and dull, black
and mixed skin ; where quality is the
watchword. Has specific problems (our hair is or can be: difficult to style,
porous, dry, rough to the touch, split ends, fragile, dull, brittle, lacking in
sebum…), specific responses will be provided with the launch of a dedicated
range. This is the crazy ambition of Patrick Alès. To do this, he decides to
surround himself with recognized experts and, calls on Doctor Fatou
Batchily-Plat who oversees a team of specialists composed of
engineers-phytochemists, pharmacists and dermatologists. After 7 years of research,
the Phytospecific range was finally born in 2000! At the time, there were only 6 to 7
products. Today, we consumers have the choice between 16 hair products and 4
dermocosmetics . Without counting the 2 hair straightening kits . The
innovation of this straightening is, that it is the only one to contain a
straightening active ingredient of natural origin (without soda) thanks to the
egg and soy . An emulsion and a cream for coloring are also sold.
I have long
thought that the beauty products in the Phytospecific range were intended for curly,
relaxed, brushed and straightened hair, but were hardly or not at all suitable
for frizzy natural hair. I was wrong. I learned, by talking with Doctor Fatou
Batchily-Plat that I did not choose the products suited to my hair. Indeed,
Phytospecific classifies hair into3 categories :
Type 1:
Normal to
dry (for curly, curly hair).
Type 2:
Ultra-dry
(for very curly, frizzy, relaxed hair in good condition).
Type 3:
Damaged and
brittle (for curly, frizzy and relaxed hair). And for each type of hair, a
program is associated. online fashion store advise you to make a diagnosis on the site of
PHYTOSPECIFIC .
